Skinny House, London, Great Britain

All architects try to surprise everyone with unique and extraordinary buildings. But London's skinniest house on Goldhawk Road became famous because of the limited space for construction. Victorian architects designed it so that the five-storey building seems squashed between two neighboring houses. At its thinnest width the building is just 1,5m and 3,0 m at its widest. The Skinny House in Shepherd's Bush, west London, includes a lower ground, ground, first, second and third floors with total space of 93 sq m. It was described as "utterly amazing and almost certainly unique". In 2009 this house was on the market for £549,950.
