Robot Building, Bangkok, Thailand

The Robot Building was built in 1986 for Bank of Asia (United Overseas Bank since 2005). The architect Sumet Jamsai was ordered to design a building that reflects the computerization and modernization of banking. The architect did not have to think long and he just used for idea a toy robot of his son, and the building became Bangkok's landmark for years to come.
