Playboy Mansion, Los Angeles, USA
LA is a place where luxury mansions aren’t rarity to see. Celebrities’ houses decorated with accessories that are beyond the “necessity” label. However there is a place where thousands of men and women dream to be invited. The invitation to this house can mean two things: you are accepted to the highest CA “gang”, or you have such a gorgeous body that soon the whole world will be enjoying it on the cover. Either way you will definitely have а never-to-be-forgotten night in one of the sexiest houses on Earth – Playboy mansion.
The house was built in 1927 by architect Arthur R. Kelly, and in 1971 was purchased for $ 1.1 million by Playboy from Louise D. Statham – inventor, engineer and ardent chess-fan. In 2011 the mansion was estimated $54 million.
The huge mansion includes wine cellar, game room, zoo, aviary, cemetery for pets, tennis courts, waterfall and pool zone. Besides a huge pool there are sauna, bathhouse, terrace, a grotto and a barbeque place.
Starting from 2000 several models from the age 18 to 28 live here with the founder of Playboy magazine Hugh Heffner (born in 1926). These are the “most desired” girls in America. It is owing to them and of course Heff’s efforts that today this house is associated with undisclosed desires and lust. However Heffner himself doesn’t describe the house as such: he treats his magazine, lifestyle and this house as an embodiment of only one aspect of normal human life – SEX.
The mansion often appears in headlines – reality show describing Playmates’ life, Midsummer's Night Dream Party, Celebrities Poker Championship and even charity party to benefit the autism researches. Right beside the Playboy mansion there is another house – the smaller copy of the original mansion. It is built for Heff’s second ex-wife Kimberley Conrad to live with their common children.
