Museum of Contemporary Art, Niteroi, Brazil

If you are not interested in art, but you are in search of romance in hug of nature, you should visit this museum in the form of a flying saucer, which could not resist the beauty of Rio, SugarLoaf Mountain, Guanabara Bay and landed in Niteroi, the city in metro Rio de Janeiro. It is set on a Guanabara Bay Cliffside with a picturesque view, at the bottom of which lays a marvelous beach. The famous Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer who is specialized in international modern architecture with the assistance of structural engineer Bruno Contarini reincarnated his wildest imagination in this futuristic design, and the museum in the shape of a spaceship appeared before the public in 1996. It stands 16 meters high and its cupola has a diameter of 50 meters with three floors. At this prestigious and fascinating museum you can find a number of works of famous Brazilian artists Emiliano Di Cavalcanti, Bruno Giorgi and Maria Martins, representing abstractionism and Brazilian neorealism.

It is not surprising that Museum of Contemporary Art has become the main landmark of Niteroi.
