Hotel Punta Grande, Canary Islands, Spain
The Smallest Hotel Punta Grande, Canary Islands, Spain
Сharming Hotel Punta Grande, located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, is the smallest hotel in the world registered in the Guinness Book of Records. The hotel is situated in a municipality Frontera of mysterious El Hierro Island, one of the Canary Islands, Spain.
All its facilities are limited to only four double rooms without a telephone, television, or mini-bar. You can't help admiring its interior design particularly in the dining hall: a marine atmosphere from ship and wreck scraping, portholes, compasses, lanterns, charts and a diving suit. Here ship wood was used to give a pleasant simplicity and tranquility to the bedrooms, located on the middle floor. Curiously, one of the rooms (Number 2) has a terrace where you can blow launch rod into the sea.
If you have a fear of loneliness you should not choose such a far corner of the world. The Punta Grande Hotel is a perfect place to rest and be in full and lonely contact with nature. To sleep in it must be something like sleeping in the ship, on waves.
