Darla Moore School of Business, Columbia, SC, USA

Founded in 1919, Darla Moore School of Business (University of South Carolina) is one of the most prestigious educational centers in the world, with numerous bachelor, masters and doctorate programs mainly in international business, business administration, human resources, accountancy, etc. The school is located in the campus of the University of South Carolina and occupies 37,904 square meters (408,000 square feet). The new building of the school is scheduled to open in December 2013. This new net-zero energy and carbon neutral building will feature about 24,000-square–meter (260,000 square-feet) space consisting of 40 meeting rooms, more than 130 faculty offices, café, advanced systems for water- and energy-use. The whole process is aimed at improving the quality of education and enhancing the number of students in the faculties of the prominent educational facility. The project is going to earn LEED Platinum certification.
