The construction with gross floor area of 4830 square meters (or 52.000 sq feet) earned LEED Platinum certification in 2009. Efficient water devices help to cut down about 40% of water usage. Surrounded with native plants, Blattner Corporate Headquarters also has a kitchen, indoor and outdoor bicycle storages, a fitness center and a large parking lot. The white roof of the building effectively reflects sunlight. It was built by Knutson Construction. It’s the second project in Minnesota with LEED Platinum certification.
