What is the LEED Certification?

AMB Morgan Business Center, Bloomingdale, Georgia, USA

Built by the design of the architectural company Randall-Paulson Architects in 2008, AMB Morgan Business Center (Building 100) in Bloomingdale (branch of the global industrial real estate developer, AMB Property Corporation, spanning 15 countries) is an industrial facility, with gross floor area of 32,237 square meters (347,000 sq feet). One of the four buildings in the unique business park – it provides occupants not only with exclusive business opportunities, but also with eco-friendly and healthy indoor conditions. While creating the $14.7 million project, the designers put the main stress on reducing water consumption, as the problem of water is actual in Georgia. Water-reducing plumbing fixtures in the toilets and water-efficient drought-tolerant landscaping cut down water usage (savings are evaluated 67% annually). The roof is covered with white reflective surface. The building earned LEED Gold certification (LEED Gold Core and Shell). It also offers its employees with a comfortable parking lot for 194 cars. The main contractor was the Conlan Company.
