Suzlon One Earth, Pune, India

One of the greatest wind power companies in India, Suzlon Energy Limited, has over 13,000 employees and numerous branches in 33 countries. Headquartered in Pune Suzlon Corporation – one of the largest wind turbine manufacturers. The company was founded by Tulsi Tanti in 1995. On April 29, 2010 the main headquarters of the company, also called “One Earth” campus, achieved the highest rating for its sustainability – LEED Platinum certification. Gross floor area of one of the largest Green projects in India is 41,000 square meters. The building is intended for 2300 people. The key factors of sustainable design are the efficient use of water and electricity, environmental health, indoor air quality, exterior lighting based on renewable sources of energy, efficient systems of ventilation and water management.
